Actor Corey Haim was found dead Wednesday (March 10) morning due to an apparent drug overdose. Haim, 38, was found unresponsive in his apartment near Burbank, California.

Haim, who was infamous for his substance abuse, reportedly died at 3:30 a.m. PT with his mother at his home during the time of his death. He was pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, police said.

Haim stepped into the industry alongside longtime friend Corey Feldman in the 1980s. The two later became known as "The Corey's". Haim starred in several films such as Lost Boys, License To Drive and Dream A Little Dream. His latest project was with Feldman for an A&E reality show, "The Two Corey's", which aired from 2007 to 2008.

Beyonce and her mother, Tina, were on Good Morning America recently to talk about the new Cosmetology School she opened in Jay-Z's hometown, Brooklyn. The Beyonce Cosmetology Center offers a seven month training program at Brooklyn’s Phoenix House for women who struggle with substance abuse.

During the interview, she was asked yet again about the possibility of kids in the near future. “I have time. I have so many things that I love to do and so many things that I’ve done. So, I feel like, when it’s supposed to happen, it will.” she said before her mom cut in, “I’m Praying For It Now!!!!”

They also showed parts of her speech at the Cosmetology Center where she cried while talking about her mother. This school seems to be very important to the starlet...Love that she is doing new things!

Lady Gaga has made quite the name for herself as one of music's brightest stars, but her past is a mystery for many...a past she admits is full of dark moments.  

During an interview with the New York Times, Gaga revealed she was once addicted to drugs, but gave it up for her fans. "I left [my past] behind because I had to," she said. "For many reasons, like drugs. It's no secret that I have had problems with drugs in the past. And some places represent to me things in terms of my mental and physical health, so you learn to move on, to preserve what your mission in life is, and my greater mission is my fans."

Gaga, who recently won two Grammy awards, also made it clear family comes first despite her increasing fame. "It's hard knowing who to trust with your personal life. When you cry in your room at night, you don't always know who to call. So I am very close to my family."

The 23-year-old starlett closed out the interview by once again making it clear her fans are more important to her than her own needs. "I live my life completely serving only my work and my fans. And that way, I have to think about not what is best for my vagina, but what is best for my fans and for me artistically."

R&B singer Actress Mariah Carey walked the Academy Award red carpet in an elegant Valentino dress alongside hubby, Nick Cannon on Sunday night; the two were all smiles the entire time and seemed to be enjoying their night.

Carey, who starred in the Academy Award nominated film Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire, spoke on her role as a rugged social worker. During her quick interview with TV Guide, the singer recalled a friend of hers making it clear that this roll was not the typical glamorous one for the star. "You were in Mariah Carey hell [her friend said]."

Of course, as the true jokester he is, Nick Cannon made it a point to let everyone know his wifey can look beautiful in any way. "The mustache [in the movie] was amazing", he joked.

Actress Mo'Nique snagged her first Academy Award Sunday night (March 7) for her role in the critically acclaimed film, Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire.

Mo accepted the award displaying true modesty and class. “I would like to thank the Academy for showing that it can be about the performance and not the politics,” she said with emotion.

Mo’Nique’s acting skills were put to the test with her incredible portrayal of Mary, a mother who abuses her daughter physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually. The performance landed her several awards including a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and NAACP Image Award.

Dental surgery, a courthouse fire and scheduling issues should have no chance in interfering with Lil Wayne starting his one-year prison sentence later today.

The rapper was set to be sentenced last month, but Wayne's attorney requested a delay so the rapper could undergo eight root canals. Then, just hours before he was set to head to Rikers Island the second time, a fire broke out at the Manhattan Criminal Court Building delaying his departure. 

Wayne is now set to appear before his judge on Monday (March 8) afternoon and plead guilty to attempted gun possession. He's then expected to turn himself in immediately to begin his prison term. 

As the true workaholic he is, Weezy has been spending these past lucky weeks completing a number of music videos to keep fans happy while he's away; this includes shooting nine music videos in one weekend.

Vivica Fox stopped by "The Wendy Williams Show" this week, and wasn't hesitant to spill the beans on her new boyfriend Slim, a promoter from Atlanta. "He has his own identity and career happening. Honestly, when I met him I just couldn't stop thinking about him," Fox told Williams.   

Vivica said that if she learned anything from her past relationships, it was the importance of time. "I waited for love this time," she added.

Fox, who will be hosting TV Guides red carpet show this Sunday at the 82nd Academy Awards, is going back to work in April to produce the upcoming play, "Cheaper To Keeper."
