Urban Spin was in the house at The Roots 6th annual Jam Session last night. The red carpet for the event was crazy! We talked to everyone from John Legend to Foreign Exchange, and watched security usher The Jonas Brothers and Mos Def right past us - too big for the carpet I guess. 

After finishing up work, we headed inside to watch The Roots jam with Bilal, D. Woods, Mac Maine, Mike Shinoda, Ledisi, Mos Def and Jay Electronica. I have to admit, I was especially impressed by D. Woods cover of 4 Non Blondes' "What's Going On" - don't judge!  

Of course, everyones mind was on the Grammy Awards. We asked a couple of nominees about their feelings going into today's big show! Check it out below.
